Pacquiao Mayweather

At this point does it really matter?  Mayweather is almost 40 so if he loses age might be blamed for that.  Pacquiao has obviously lost his killer instinct and people will look to the Marquez KO to blame. Personally I think that ship has sailed and that fight will never be the same.

Don't get me wrong ill order it and enjoy it, but deep in my mind I will wonder what would of been.  What if in 2011 Floyd wasn't a bitch about everything and had just fought Pac 50-50 or 60/40 split with the winner taking the bigger chunk.  I mean why the fuck not? They both will make over 60 million, in a time of a recession, to fight for 12 runds.  Their lives will be at risk, but this is what they both have trained for their entire life.  For this moment.

Imagine it's 2010, Floyd is fresh from his retirement and has easily defeated, Manny Pacquaio arch nemesis, Juan Manuel Marquez.  Meanhile, Manny Pacquiao  just demolished Miguel Cotto last November. All of a sudden we are the lucky few who will  witness our "the fight of the century".  We will tell our children and our grand children about this fight.  For five years the boxing landscape has been leading to this.  The talented All American prodigy who was robbed in the Olympics and looking  for a fight to cement himself as the greatest of all time, versus the third would country champion a man who's literal hunger created a path of carnage and destruction to the top.  How could it not happen? I mean why the fuck not? They both will make over 60 million, in a time of a recession, to fight for 12 rounds.  Their lives will be at risk, but this is what they both have trained for their entire life.  For this moment.
This was going to be our generations Fraiser-Ali, Duran-Leonard,Balboa-Drago, Stone Cold-The Rock but ......

Then Mayweather chose to fight Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, blah blah blah and Manny's explosive speed and killer instincts were wasted on Clottey, Margarito and a bunch of dude's not named Mayweather who all they did was block and tried to make it through 12. Well
except for Margarito who actually tried to fight back, and he suffered a broken orbital bone and an early career exit for his troubles.

Flash forward to  the end of 2014.  

 Again, there is talk about the big fight again, and it doesn't really matter.  Yea everybody will cash out and it will be in the history books as Pacquiao Mayweather but who the fuck cares?  No matter the outcome in the back of our head we know this is only a small taste of what could of been.  It'll be like missing Thanksgiving dinner because of a stupid fly delay, and finally eating thanksgiving dinner the next morning. It's good, but you know that shit would of been better last night.

Even at this point I don't think Floyd takes the fight. 

Mayweather Maidana

The results of Mayweather- Maidana fight lastSaturday has taken me through a journey like Nicholas Cage in National Treasure:  Reading conspiracies and following clues in search of the truth.

First things first before we move forward lets get this straight Mayweather won that fight and that's that. There is no if's and but's about it the champ won that fight easily. Here is the evidence

Money landed his power punches at a 65% compared to 34% that's almost double.  Fuck, look at Maidana's jabs they landed at nearly 10% who the fuck is going to win a boxing match only landing at 11% especially being the challenger. 

Now that's settled lets move on to the subject at hand. 

Why were most people shrieking like a prepubescent little girls at a Bieber concert, after the scores were announced.  

Here's why! Because Floyd was fucking with you all and he was fucking with Maidana the entire time.

By now everyone should know that Mayweather is a brilliant boxer and great business man who surrounds himself with even more brilliant business man.  His main motivation is money.

Floyd doesn't care what we think of him, but he does need us to buy his PPV's.  If he had put up another boring fight like he did with Canelo and Robert Guerrero next fight we would not be inclined to buy his next PPV, unless he fight Pacquiao.

Now every boxing "expert" thinks that they have discovered a kink in Floyd's armor. "He's slowing down" "His reflexes are diminishing" "He's older"

What Floyd did last Saturday was something that happens nightly in Vegas he put on a show. He knew going in that Maidana is not a natural 147lbs, so Mayweather would be the bigger man.  Maidana had look like shit when he lost to Devon Alexander at 147.  Before the fight Mayweather joked that Maidana couldn't knock out a blown up lightweight in Adrian Broner.

He did what had needed to do he put on a show. He sat against the ropes the first few rounds and took some punches. Of course everyone, including myself, was more than happy to the see the cocky fuck get hit, but sadly the punches didn't hurt Floyd.

If Floyd had taken the same risks with the stronger Canelo he would of gotten knocked out by the bigger guy. Just like Oscar De la Hoya was knocked out by one punch from Bernard Hopkins.

Floyd is smarter than all of us when it comes to boxing, and he knew the real Floyd would of made Maidana look boring, and scared casual fans away

The real Floyd fought Canelo and made the kid look  like a slow shitty boxer which is the furthest thing from the truth.   But Floyd knew that he couldn't take those risks with the  heavy fisted kid. 

After fight Floyd told Boxingscene.com "Sometimes you have to do it for the fans" In the articles he states that he didn't plan to move for the fight much, and he was willing to take a few bump and bruises for the sake of entertainment.

So finally the riddle is solved Floyd did not respect Maidana's boxing ability and even less his power. He  knew the guy would not hurt him, so he fucked with him like you used to fuck around with your little brother.  Take a few a punches from the kid to rile him up ,but when it got serious or the youngster kind of hurt you then you would fuck him up and show him who's boss.

That's exactly what happened Saturday Floyd was fucking with Maidana, so stop crying bloody murder and get ready for a decent fight between Floyd an Khan in September.
